How the data are extracted ?

The purpose of this analysis is to extract every tag/categories of every video featured on the homepage of major websites, in order to show what the industry wants to show up first to their consumers. For now, there are three sites: Pornhub, Xhamster, and Xvideos.

Every day at 11pm, a program is executed to extract these tags. Why 11pm? According to Pornhub's recent review, 11pm (23H) is the favorite time for people to watch porn.

The program extracts: titles, links, and tags of every video shown on the homepage.

How can you download the data? You can download them from the analysis page, in the "data range" section, and choose a range of time to download. You will get a .CSV file.

From May 1st, 2026 onwards, the data are considered valid.
